Upon completion of this course, learners will develop the abilities to:
• Adhere to WSH policy and procedures
• Assist in the conduct of compliance inspections within work area
• Identify non-compliances, unsafe work conditions and practices
• Communicate the risks and control measures to the relevant stakeholders
• Identify personal protective equipment requirements and safety device required for safe operations of tools and equipment at the workplace in accordance with the organisational procedures
• Follow safety signs, instructions and workplace risk control measures in accordance with the organisational procedures
• Interpret safety signs and hazard symbols
Participants will be equipped with knowledge pertaining to legislative requirements, implement
workplace safety and health practices as well as maintain a safe and secure working environment at
their workplace.
They will learn:

Target Audiences:
This course is for company-sponsored staff/ Approved Progressive Wage Model Course
Entry Requirements:
1) Education : Minimum Lower Secondary education or WPLN level 4
2) Participants will be required to have the ability to converse, read & write in English.
Registration will close 1 week before the course commencement date or when class is full, whichever is earlier.
Note:
- If the participant fails to meet at least 75% attendance per module and/or fails to sit for an assessment or for any other reason where funding is not approved, company / trainee is required to reimburse ACI the funded portion of the course fees
- Programme contents, schedule and all fees are subject to changes
- Funding amounts stated are indicative and subject to changes without prior notice.
- There will be an assessment component where participants will be required to have the ability to converse, read & write in english.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Enrolment for courses will be based on first-come-first serve basis with payment. NO Reservation is permitted.
- All fees must be received prior to attending the course.
- Applicants can ONLY attend the Intake they SELECT, i.e no changing to other intake in between.
- Course registration is confirmed only after full payment is made, Applicant to ensure that information provided on the application form is accurate.
- After course confirmation, change of course date is only valid with a MC, compassionate leave or reservist.
- We do not allow change of course date or replacement 10 days prior to course commencement. Only reasons as stated in point 5 will be accepted.
- Any omission of information required in this application form or incomplete submission of supporting documents will subject the application to rejection. (Ensure full document is submitted upon application.
